They have many popular items which are crazily raved about online and in news articles:
1. Shiok Maki ($16.80)
Undoubtedly the most famous dish here. It is a maki made up of avocado, unagi, salmon, topped with cheesy sauce and mayonnaise, with generous topping of tobiko.
2. Shiok Sushi ($6.00/pc)
A mouth size sushi with aburi salmon, a mini version of the shiok maki with a larger slice of salmon wrapped around the sushi.
3. Foie Gras Maki ($28.00)
Foie gras sushi roll wrapped with aburi swordfish.
4. Shiok Maki 2nd Generation ($16.80)
Crispy prawn sushi roll wrapped with aburi salmon. Crunchy and extremeley flavorful. I prefer prawn to eel and that's why I ordered this instead of the much raved about Shiok Maki. In fact I don't eat eel at all.
5. Tokyo Ramen ($8.00)
Value for money! Ramen topped with char siew, spinach, fishcake, dried seaweed, bamboo shoot, and served with home-made soy-based broth.
6. Yaki Udon ($10.00)
My must try next time! It just looks so yummy. Served hot and fresh off the teppanyaki griddle.
7. Gindara Yaki ($16)
I love cod, so this was a must-order for me. Extremely fresh and tender. Topped with mentaiko, and completed with fresh cabbage salad and garlic miso sauce.
TIPS:
If you can, go during off-peak hours. Otherwise, be prepared to queue up. I think it would be good to go in a larger group so you can order more things to try. Trust me, I wanted to order everything off the menu.
